Alongside our studio programmes, we run weekly Group Cycling rides for members who want to get outdoors. Some of our riders have never cycled seriously before joining us, plenty have gone on to take on bigger challenges, from weekend rides through the Brecon Beacons to our organised group trip to climb Mont Ventoux in the French Alps.
If you're looking for a supportive way into cycling, this is it.
Ask About Our Next RideOur Group Cycling is what happens when studio training escapes the building. It started as a handful of members riding out on a Sunday and has grown into a weekly fixture, with a few genuinely ambitious trips attached to it.
Rides head out from Redditch into the Worcestershire and Warwickshire lanes. The pace is social, the group regroups at the top of climbs, and nobody gets left behind. Several of our current riders had never cycled seriously before their first outing with us.
Come on whatever bike you own. We would rather you rode for a few months and then bought sensibly than spent thousands before you know what you enjoy. When you do want advice, you’ll get an honest opinion rather than a shopping list.
For members who want a target, the trips are the reward: weekend riding in the Brecon Beacons, and an organised group ascent of Mont Ventoux in France. Nobody is thrown at a mountain unprepared. We build towards these over months, using studio strength work to support the riding.
Ask about the next one. Rides are open to members, and if you’re not training with us yet, a free consultation is the place to start.
As a cyclist I love training with Seal. Ali and his team make training fun and challenging. It is true performance conditioning, working on every aspect of fitness.
I have been training with Seal training for 5 years. Ali and his team really know their stuff. Would definitely recommend.
Very experienced trainers who know how to achieve good results. Very friendly and helpful.
Some of our riders had never cycled seriously before joining. Rides are set up so nobody gets dropped, and the group waits. If you can ride a bike, you can come out with us.
No. Come on what you’ve got, and if you get into it we’ll happily give you honest advice on kit before you spend anything.
Distances vary by group and by week, and the weekly rides are deliberately more social than punishing. Longer routes are there for anyone who wants to build up.
Out from Redditch into the Worcestershire and Warwickshire lanes, with bigger days further afield. Recent trips have taken in the Brecon Beacons and an organised group climb of Mont Ventoux in France.
They’re open to members, and we build up to them over months rather than throwing anyone at a mountain unprepared. Ask about the next ride and we’ll tell you what’s coming up.
